Our mission is to promote wildlife conservation and responsible stewardship of the Earth’s biological diversity through education and ethical wildlife rehabilitation.
Welcome to Canton
Raptor Care, Inc., a non-profit wildlife rehabilitation facility
located in Canton, Connecticut.
CRC admits injured, sick and orphaned birds of prey and reconditions
them so they can be returned to the wild. CRC is an independent non-profit
that
is not affiliated with any other organization or nature center. Canton
Raptor Care was founded by president and director, Teresa Kramer, a
federally and state licensed wildlife rehabilitator and wildlife educator
in order
to meet the growing demands of raptors living in suburban and urban
areas that require medical and re-nesting support.
CRC evaluates each patient on a case-by-case basis and consults with
avian specialists to determine the proper course of treatment for each
bird admitted
to the clinic. CRC makes certain that birds are taken for proper diagnostic
tests and radiographs when warranted so a bird has the best possible chance
to survive when released. If you have found an
orphaned or injured bird of prey please contact Canton Raptor Care at:
